         Hello, my name is Sophie Cheng, and I live in Landsdale. From 2-15-2019 to 2-18-2019 our whole family went on a trip to Denver! On the first day of our trip, we went off to the airport. We went to a small children's play area once we got through the check in and the security gate. There, we met a little girl. I"ll tell you this, was that girl rude! She demanded us to do things like if she were the queen of England! She would command Yasmine to do things while she would go have her shoes tied or get a sip of water! She tried to command me to do things too! She called us like this:"Girl,do that!" or "Girl,get over here!" and stuff like that. When some other kids came, she even demanded Yasmine to gaurd a part of the playground because they were pretending that it was they're house! I mean,it's just pretend! What a very selfish kid! Anyway, we boarded a plane that took off at about 1:30. On the plane, we ate bagels and bananas. Snack time! We also had 2 periods of screen time. I tried out my dad's way of playing Sudoku. It worked ! I got the whole thing done with only 1 mistake! The same thing for the next time! I can't beleive it! When we got to Denver, I saw something very different about the baggage claim. There was a tall, long baggage claim that I saw had skis on it. Then, we rented a car and went to our hotel. For our dinner, we went to the California Pizza Kitchen. Good night!

        Good morning! Today we're going snow tubing! First, we went to the lounge for our breakfast. I had cereal and yogurt for breakfast. After that, we went back to our room. Then, we went to Target to buy some gear because for snow tubing, we had to go up a very cold mountain. After that, we went to the REI coop to buy some speical snow boots and pants that we couldn't find at Target. Then we had our lunch at Wendys before we went up the mountain for snow tubing. When we started to go on the road, we had to stop pretty quickly because Yasmine needed to go to the bathroom . It made my dad really mad because when we were still at Wendys my mom had asked her if she needed to go and she said she didn't so I guess that is what had made him mad. Anyway, when we finnaly got to the snow tubing place, first I went to the bathroom, then we put on our special cloths, and then we hiked up to a little shelter (my mom had to tell us to walk up ourselves and look out for ourselves because her shoes were not those kinds of special shoes). Then, we finnaly went to the snow tubing fun! At first, I thought the tubes were really heavy. But once I got used to it, we went pretty fast (not counting how slow the carry-on was)! It was so, so, so, so, so, so, very fun. For our dinner, we went to the lounge and ate a bunch of meatballs and preztal breads. It was a good day.

        Rise and shine! Today we're going to a beer factory! First, again, we went to the lounge for our breakfast. Then, we went to our room to change our clothes because before we went to the beer factory we were going to the swimming pool! At the swimming pool, I tried to have a mini lesson on how to swim, but my dad said we would have to wait until next time because I needed some gear. So insted, at the swimming pool, because I was tall enough to stand in a part of the swimming pool, we played Chase and Bonk Daddy! Then we went back to our room to, you guessed it! We change our clothes to go to the beer factory! It took a long time, about a hour, to be detailed, and we also saw a sight that was just a stupid G on the mountains that standed for Golden, the town that we were driving through, but at last we got to the beer factory. It was one for a company named Cools. The line for the shuttles was longer than we thought. It took an hour and five minutes. We had to play many games to keep us busy. Why, we even needed to go to the restroom while we were waiting! Mom also had to run back to the car 2 times to get clothes for me to wear because I was so cold! I was so embarresed  about wearing those clothes! It took a long time, but we finnaly got to go into the beer factory! Inside, my mom and my dad both grabed a thing that I think was that when you dialed in the number  that was wrote on the exhibit it would start telling you about what it is, it's history, and maybe the process of this step or the whole process all together. I did'nt have one of those "things" that my mom and dad had, so I just read the signs and asked my dad the words I didn't know. When we got to halfway, we saw a station for beer. My mom and dad drank some and then we carried on. When we got to the end of the pathway, we saw a HUGE place for people to drink beer (how many times am I going to type "beer"). My mom ordered a cup of beer and I got some soda. My dad ordered pink lemonade. He also bought some chips for us to eat. After we finished our snack, we went and got a penny-just for fun! Then we exited the beer mueseum, got on the shuttle, and rode back to the parking lot where our car was (we listened to some jokes the driver told us). When we started on the road to find a lunch (it was actully already 3:00) my dad said that we could go to Mcdonalds. We all agreed, so we drove off. At Mcdonalds, we saw tables with screens on them. There was even games on the screens! It was like little I-pads stashed into the table! And the table had pictures of what was in the games! There was Wink, Ants, Drawing, and I think it was called, Technigqe or something like that? Me and Yasmine played that while we were waiting for our food to arive. We had ordered french fries. After we ate, I went to the bathroom with mom and Yasmine and mom to use the restroom  and wash my hands. Then, we played some more with the games. My dad played Wink with me. He won the first round, but I don't remenber who won the second round. Then we took another hour to go to our new hotel. Today we were switching a hotel. It was very cold when we got out of the car because we could'nt park at the hotel. We parked somewhere a block away from the hotel. When we got in, my dad did the check-in while my mom, Yasmine, and me sat on the sofa next to the fireplace to warm us up. When we settled into our room, my dad said that at 5:00 we could go down to the lounge to see if there were any dinner options. Me and Yasmine drawed and colored until then. When the clock striked 5, we went down to the lounge. There weren't any dinner options, but at least I got to have a gronola bar (I guess) and some soda snacks. Then my dad, for real dinner, went out by himself to buy some seafood pasta for dinner. After we had finished, we had a small screen time. Then it was time to go to bed. Night-night!

        Hello, world! Today we're going home! When my mom and Yasmine had gotten up to get breakfast, I was still sleepy. So they went off by themselves and my dad took me to breakfast. When we got there, we didn't see my mom or Yasmine so we predicted that while we went up to the lounge, they went down to our hotel room. What a funny coincedence! I had some scrambled eggs and some cereal flakes (the cereal was so yummy because there was extra sugar on it). After we checked out we went to the parking lot. At the parking lot, we had to go onto the elavator 4 times just to find our car. On the third time, I suddenly remenbered that we were parked on the second floor, but they just ignored me and went on to the fith. We were going to the Children's Mueseum for Denver! When we got to the childrens mueseum, we went to the ticket desk. The whole day was very, very, very, very, VERY fun. We played at the firefighter exhibit, the vetarnrinarin exhibit, the water exhibit, the bubble exhibit, the energy exhibit, the recycle exhibit, and the ball exhibit! My dad also watched me climb to the tippy-top of the "climber's thing". When I got to the top, I could see a bunch of people below me. I could also see the outside with buildings, highways, cars, and signs. When I went down, I crossed a bridge that was terrifying. Then the rest of the way down was just like the way up. Then, we went to the airport. We returned our car, got on a shuttle, did our check-in, went through the security gate, went to eat some extra dinner (I only ate yogurt), went to the gate, boarded the plane, got to the phelidelphia airport, got OUR car, drove home, and huddled into our beds. That was all about my trip to Denver.
